Are you seeking a midsize luxury SUV for your next daily driver? Well, if so, we here at BMW of Chico would be quick to couple you up with ours, the 2017 X5.

And why would we, you ask?

You'll find that answer in the clip below. Join Road Test Editor Dan Ilika, as he tries the X5 on for size:

In base form, the X5 receives a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine as standard.

Syncing with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the entry-level engine makes a muscular 300 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard; the xDrive all-wheel system, meanwhile, is optional.

We appreciate the fuel efficiency of this turbo-six, too; when had with rear-wheel drive, for example, it's estimated to return 21 mpg combined (18 city/25 highway).

To learn more about this charming crossover, or to take one for a spin, we suggest you set a course for our Chico, CA location. Our automotive aces are on hand to address your every query about the X5, or any other BMW model within the current lineup.
