After being debuted at the Detroit Auto Show, we learned a lot about the new BMW set to join our impressive lineup. Officially named the BMW 302i and BMW 320i xDrive, the latest vehicle to come from our favorite German automaker is the most accessible model yet. With a MSRP of $33,445 and $35,445 respectively, the 320i and 320i xDrive are incredibly attainable.
Here at Courtesy BMW of Chico, we understand that some of our diehard BMW drivers and fans may be a little skeptical by the low sticker price. After getting a closer look at the two vehicles, we can promise our skeptics that the engineers at BMW didn't cut any corners.
Drivers have the option of picking between a 1.5-liter and a 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder engine that is capable of getting 180 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque. Both the 320i and 320i xDrive utilize the same engine. The 4-cylinder engine can also get from 0-60 in 7.1 seconds. Both vehicles have all the performance and handling our fans have to come to expect from BMW models.
The low MSRP isn't the only way our 320i and 320i xDrive can save our customers money. It also saves money at the pumps and both models are very fuel-efficient. When paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission the 320i and 320i xDrive can get 23 mpg in the city and 33 mpg on the highway. Our fans and drivers who want more control in their vehicles will also be able to get 22 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway when using the 6-speed manual transmission.
