New BMW X7 SUVs in Chico, CA

BMW X7 MSLP - BMW of Chico

The BMW X7 slots in as the roomiest SUV in the BMW lineup, providing Northern California drivers with seating for up to seven, robust luxury features, ample tech, and a powerful engine. Regardless of the trim selected, the BMW X7 offers up an excellently equipped SUV option that's ready to take on most any adventures in the Chico area. The BMW X7 comes to drivers in two primary trim levels: xDrive40i and M50i.

The MBW X7 offers up plenty of engine options for Chico drivers to enjoy, with the base engine being a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 that makes 335 horsepower and 330 pound-feet of torque. If more power is needed, then stepping to the M50i is always a possibility. It's also worth noting that there's a special XB7 version of the X7 that comes with a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that makes 612 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque. However, if you're interested in the distinctly sporty M50i iteration of the X7, then you can expect a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that makes 523 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. All trim levels of the BWM X7 come with all-wheel drive and work with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The BMW X7 manages 7,500 pounds of towing capacity.

The latest model year of the BMW X7 leaves little to be desired in the technology realm. That's right, even the base trim of the BMW X7 comes equipped with a seriously impressive suite of tech features. The xDrive40i trim level includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment display, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, a 10-speaker audio system, a digital gauge cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, and USB ports. Moving to the M50i trim ensures even more tech. The M50i trim gains a 16-speaker Harman Kardon premium surround-sound audio system, a head-up display, and infotainment gesture controls. The M50i doesn't stop there. It also comes with a surround-view camera system. The BMW X7 makes additional tech available as separate upgrades, which include a 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system.

Interior Features

The BMW X7 leads with luxury, providing a robust standard set of comfort and convenience features. The xDrive40i trim level includes remote start, a panoramic sunroof, quad-zone automatic climate control, simulated leather upholstery, heated front seats, heated armrests, a heated steering wheel, a power dual-section tailgate, and simulated leather upholstery. The M50i makes some changes, offering Northern California drivers leather upholstery, soft-close doors, rear power window sunshades, and multi-contour front seats. Optional interior features include ventilated/massaging front seats, a panoramic sunroof with LED lights, second-row captain's chairs, and heated/cooled cupholders.

The BMW X7 wouldn't be a well-rounded luxury three-row SUV without a whole suite of driving assistance features to help boost driving confidence on Sacramento highways! The BMW X7 includes a whole set of driver assistance features with all trims. The xDrive40i trim includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning, front/rear parking sensors, and automatic high beams. The BMW X7 allows for more driver assistance features to be added via the Driving Assistance Professionals package, which adds adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, collision detection with automatic lane change assist, and forward cross traffic alert.
